Rancho Santa Margarita
Rancho Santa Margarita became an incorporated city on January 1,2000. A number of years ago Money Magazine slated RSM as the best city under 100,000. It's a favourite, not just for RSM home-owners but likewise for Robinson Ranch, Dove Canyon, Coto de Caza and Las Flores home-owners. A measured one mile lake shore walkway accommodates runners, walkers, roller blades and just casual walking. There are summer concerts in Central Park and 4th of July fireworks celebrations around the lake each year. If it's trails, hills and mountains you like this is your destination. Rancho Santa Margarita is a well thought-out planned community. There are thirteen parks including the anchor destination of Lago Santa Margarita and Beach Club. The Beach Club pool has a "sandy beach" in lieu of concrete. There are miles of walking, hiking and mountain bike trails surrounding the outskirts of Rancho Santa Margarita and Coto de Caza. I've ridden many of them. It's an outdoor mecca of activity. Some people say Rancho is too far east but I reply with certainty as I resided there for over ten years. Once you're home in Rancho it feels like home! The pictures above are samples of Rancho Santa Margaritas' Unique Architectural Styles and Landmarks.
